Celandine Poppy

Scientific Name: Stylophorum diphyllum
Height: 12-18 inches
Width: 12 inches
Habitat: Partial to full shade, moist, rich soil
Spacing: 12-16 inches

Celandine Poppy is a native species, also known as Wood Poppy and Yellow Poppy. It has cup-like yellow flowers that bloom in May and June, and then off and on until fall. The blooms attract bees and butterflies. Celandine Poppy prefers full to partial shade on moist, rich soils. It readily self-sows and will spread. This is a tough, reliable plant that is easy to grow.
