Evening Primrose

Scientific Name: Oenothera biennis
Height: 6-36"
Width: 12-18
Habitat: Prefers full sun. The soil should be of poor to average fertility and very well drained
Spacing: 12"

Flowers are partially closed during the day and open in the evening. The fragrant yellow flowers usually last only 1 to 2 days. The erect stem, which sometimes branches near the top, can be covered with hairs.
