Black-Eyed Susan

Scientific Name: Rudbeckia hirta
Height: 1-3 feet
Habitat: Full or partial sun, dry to moist soils of most types
Spacing: 15 inches

Black-Eyes Susan is a Native Species that has beautiful yellow flowers with dark centers that bloom in late July and August. It is relatively drought resistant and is good for cut flowers. The seeds attract songbirds and its nectar attracts butterflies.
