Swamp Rose

Scientific Name: Roas palustris
Height: 4-5'
Habitat: Loam or clay soils, Moderate to wet sites. Full sun to partial shade.

Swamp Rose is a native species shrub that is used in hedges, walls, or fences, or for climbing on trellises. It prefers damp or moist areas. It is an attractive shrub throughout the year, with pink flowers in mid-summer and red fruit in the fall and winter.
