Crested Iris

Spacing: 6-10 inches

Crested Iris is an easy-to-grow species of groundcover. The flowers bloom in spring and are true dwarf irises. The leaves are medium green and are sword shaped. As a groundcover, Crested Iris spreads and will form dense mats in areas of partial to moderate shade. It will grow in sandy or loam soils and prefers a moist habitat. This is a good plant for shaded rock gardens and woodland gardens. Deer generally do not care for Crested Iris.
