Conservation Projects

Conservation Projects The District offers a number of conservation construction services to area governmental units and non-profit organizations. Led by Michigan Department of Corrections crew leaders Al Strange and Bob Snyder, the Camp Pugsley Work Crews have helped a number of organizations to construct: timber recreational bridges, trails and boardwalks, overlooks, whole-log cedar fencing, picnic tables and other projects. The crews have established a track record of high quality work and are eager to help your organization improve your parklands, stabilize eroding areas, or improve access to public recreation areas. Email slargent@gtcd.org to discuss the full range of our services.
