Fourth Annual
Boardman River Clean-Sweep

The Fourth Annual Boardman River Clean-Sweep (BRC) will be held on Saturday,
June 7th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Meadows Pavilion on Cass Rd., Traverse City. This 2008 river cleanup event is done in conjunction with the Adams Chapter of Trout Unlimited and the Cherry Capital Paddle America Club (CCPAC) during National River Cleanup Week, a nationwide event. The BRC event started with just a few members of the CCPAC in 1999 and has grown to become one of the biggest community sponsored river cleanup events in the state.

Local businesses sponsor this event with prizes for a raffle, materials and supplies for the picnic, and services. Raffle proceeds support the Grand Traverse Conservation District’s Boardman River Project and the Kingsley High School Outdoor Adventure Club.

Prizes this year include:

· Traverse City area restaurant gift certificates

Ticket Price: $5 each, 4 for $15, 6 for $20
