Ben Purdy, Land Management Specialist

In 2002 Ben received his Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Development with a specialization in environmental economics from Michigan State University. Since that time he has held a number of positions at the District. In his current roll as a Land Management Specialist Ben works with paid and volunteer field crews to help manage over 3000 acres of parkland in Grand Traverse County.

In his spare time, Ben enjoys woodworking, camping, competitive shooting, and spending time with family.
