Boardman River Nature Center Grand Opening-August 16-17!
The Boardman River Nature Center's doors will be opened to the entire community August 16 and 17. Please join us for a fun-filled weekend including nature activities for all ages. A few of the exciting programs that will be offered are: nature discovery hikes, nature crafts, toddler five senses tent, recycling and raingarden workshops, green building sessions, tours of the Nature Center, Moomer's icecream, fishing, kayking with a naturalist (for a fee), Green Attitude (cool science stuff for teens), Wings of Wonder live raptors presentation on Sunday, and live reptiles and amphibians presentation by Nature Discovery on Saturday.
