The Boardman River Nature Center's doors will be opened to the entire community August 16 and 17.  Please join us for a fun-filled weekend including nature activities for all ages.  A few of the exciting programs that will be offered are:  nature discovery hikes, nature crafts, toddler five senses tent, recycling and raingarden workshops, green building sessions, tours of the Nature Center, Moomer's icecream, fishing, kayking with a naturalist (for a fee), Green Attitude (cool science stuff for teens), Wings of Wonder live raptors presentation on Sunday, and live reptiles and amphibians presentation by Nature Discovery on Saturday.  Thank you to all who attended!   Click here to see photos of the event.
