Kids Creek Restoration

Contracted by the Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, we are working behind Kohl’s in Traverse City to restore 3,000 feet of Kids Creek streambank. The stream restoration sites are on a parcel of land previously used as an agricultural operation.
Not only are streambanks being restored, but an exciting trail system is under construction as well! [...]

Whew!

We did it! One of the most severe and challenging erosion sites remaining on the Boardman River is finally complete. Site 160 as we know it, located below Sabin Dam, is 70 feet wide and nearly 150 feet tall.
