Kids Creek Restoration

Contracted by the Watershed Center Grand Traverse Bay, we are working behind Kohl’s in Traverse City to restore 3,000 feet of Kids Creek streambank. The stream restoration sites are on a parcel of land previously used as an agricultural operation.

Not only are streambanks being restored, but an exciting trail system is under construction as well! Al Strange and MDOC work crew #3 are constructing boardwalks and bridges that will be open to the public this summer! Soon, guests of the Great Wolf Lodge, and the public will enjoy touring this beautiful creek.
