Plant Rescue Program

Since the spring of 2005, a group of committed volunteers have been rescuing native plants at sites slated for development. In 2005, we offered 60 pots of rescued plants for sale. Since then, more than 1,000 native plants, including Trillium, Jack in the Pulpit, Foam Flower, and more have been rescued and offered for sale at the District's spring plant sales.

Thank you Plant Rescue Volunteers!

If you would like to get involved in digging the plants, or know about a woodland site slated for development, please call 941.0960 or send us an email
