Cindy is originally from Traverse City, attended NMC for two years and received her Bachelor's Degree from WMU with Secondary Teaching Certification. She taught 9th grade Honors Biology, 7th grade Life Science, and Adult Education High School Completion. She has post graduate work in Environmental Science and 15 years in retail, including Management and Visual Display. She is currently the Gypsy Moth Coordinator, Program Assistant and Education Specialist at the Conservation District. She has been co-ordinating the Discovery Hikes for Kids for five years and is currently developing programming for the Boardman River Nature Center.
